It's not about the kids,

it's about the money.

The Bridge

This is a cool documentary about the golden gate bridge and suicide. The film is quite interesting, with all of the interviews of the family members of people who have jumped, it gives an insight into the lives and minds of some of the jumpers. Also there is an interview with a kid who jumped in 2000 and lived.... crazy! There is a lot of interesting footage of people jumping, thinking about jumping, being saved from jumping and ignoring people who are about to jump. Some quick facts.

The bridge is over 220ft above the water.

After a fall of approximately four seconds jumpers hit the water at 75 miles per hour (120 km/h), which is nearly always fatal.

As of 2006 1,200 people have jumped off the bridge, making it the most popular suicide "destination" in the world.

On average one person jumps every 15 days.

Only 26 people have survived the jump.

Only one woman has jumped twice, surviving her first jump in 1988 only to jump again, once she was healed enough, later that year.

The Most Regal Beagle

SO I was watching the Westminster Dog Show last night, because when it comes to dogs I'm a huge nerd, and I was totally stoked to see one of us take home best in show. Check out Uno, probably the best looking Beagle I have ever seen!
