Weekend Trip Plus a Suprise For Snacks!

So Karen and I took a little Jaunt to Slower Lower Delaware to the 2007 Punkin Chunkin World Championship which was ok. The 2 hour drive down was not too bad but the last mile took us over an hour due the the incompetence of the 14 year old rednecks attempting to park 20,000 cars in a corn field... The whole parking thing kinda killed the whole mood but it was still a good time.

On the way back we took a little detour....

So Denton does exist and now i feel like i completely understand Snacks... I did take a pic of the Library Gap but i felt that it did not do it justice, but I will vouch for Snacks and state that it is a hell of a gap (although Karen did pull a tre flip down it on her first try). So for all of you nay-sayers out there you will just have to make your Hajj to the Library Gap and see it with your own eyes!

More internet coverage of Denton? I'm stripping this town of it's rural status. It is now being upgraded to Baltimore. Baltimore, you are now Denton. Get on the internet and we'll see if I decide to change this ruling.

those of you that didn't make it down to the punkin chunkin / denton tour really missed out! I think Karen and I may have to make the trip again in the future with Denton's most famous resident as our tour guide. I feel that we missed the underbelly of this town. I want to see the real Denton next time!

Join us for the world's most boring trip on earth! This is out of control, Denton, I'm stripping you of your Baltimore status. Although, this post has more comments than any in history of the blog...I reinstate your Baltimore status!

ill make a podcast and you can take an audio tour through denton. "behind the porta-potty at the old basketball courts is where i felt my first boob"
i cant believe you went once, but your already trying to go back!
i spent half my life trying to escape that place, and like i said, you have been there more times this year than i have. i think ill skip any trips back, unless its on the way to OCMD or something.
