BH1 (a little early)

C is for . . .
Clipse: Grindin'

I've listened to Clipse way too much and they're still amazing. Me and Freeborn follow them around like the Grateful Dead.

Philadelphia, the magazine not the city

Philadelphia, the magazine for older, richer, whiter philadelphians had two great blurbs this month.

1) They gave It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia an A.
"If Seinfeld and Arrested Development gave birth to a love child, it would be It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia."
Check this show out it's fucking hilarious!

2)(This one's for Snacks)They listed Bob and Barbara's as their #1 "offbeat" bar.
"Long before Maxim declared Bob and Barbara's one of the country's best dives, PHiladelphians were pounding its quick-drunk special: a shot of Jim Beam and a can of Pabst for $3."

Sorry Whitey

Bad News for white people, black people no longer think they're smart. It's all about the asians now. On the Freakonomics blog they have a link to a paper by an economist who
has done research on “acting white,” i.e. the phenomenon by which black children who excel academically are stigmatized by their peers.

Recently, he was in a New York City school and asked some of the seventh graders he was talking to whether they had ever heard the phrase “acting white.”

The kids laughed at him and said, “Of course, but that’s old school. Now it’s called ‘acting Asian.’”

B is for . . .
Bad Brains: Pay to Cum

Remeber when punk rock was good?

Sarah's Costume

Sarah made this dress herself. It was my favorite costume of the halloween holiday season.

This show was amazing. You need to see it in person to truly appreciate it.

Weekend Trip Plus a Suprise For Snacks!

So Karen and I took a little Jaunt to Slower Lower Delaware to the 2007 Punkin Chunkin World Championship which was ok. The 2 hour drive down was not too bad but the last mile took us over an hour due the the incompetence of the 14 year old rednecks attempting to park 20,000 cars in a corn field... The whole parking thing kinda killed the whole mood but it was still a good time.

On the way back we took a little detour....

So Denton does exist and now i feel like i completely understand Snacks... I did take a pic of the Library Gap but i felt that it did not do it justice, but I will vouch for Snacks and state that it is a hell of a gap (although Karen did pull a tre flip down it on her first try). So for all of you nay-sayers out there you will just have to make your Hajj to the Library Gap and see it with your own eyes!
