REEL TALK

Its cold out. Brew some tea, wrap a blanket around your legs, smoke some weed, and watch a movie:

I know, not what you would expect me to watch. A little too family orientated for my tastes, but there is no denying the animation talents of pixar. If you have a fancy tv you should proabably get real stoned and rent this. I have a shitty tv and I still watched the whole thing.

This is by Samuel Fuller. I saw Sam in the documentry below and I thought he was the coolest, so I rented this. It was cool but real old timey. Im sure this is like a cult favorite and roger eberts turning over in his grave as i type this, but i wasnt real into it. Sorry Sam, I still think youre really awesome.

Jim Jarmush and Sam Fuller go into the amazon of Brazil to re-visit a location for an old movie that was never made. I know, youre riveted. If you havent already gotten up to run to your local video store, you should know that I would only recommend this for super fans of either gentleman. Jim Jarmush is really funny and oozes coolness. Sam Fuller makes me wish I was 40 years older and kind of kooky. He's the grandfather you wish you had.

This dude is so Badass.
if your'e expecting to see Raising Arizona you are going to be disappointed. Although, the dialogue is Coen Brothers at there finest. In fact, the dialogue was so funny, I felt guilty laughing while so much blood shed was happening. And there was quite a bit of blood shed, this was extremely violent.
Also, i dont think there was any music in the entire film.
If you like your films easy to follow and wrapped up neatly at the end, then stay away.

I dont have cable. Its either this or dancing with the stars. Actually this wasnt so bad.

This is a great fucking movie. This was probably the 4th time I rented this. The first time I saw it was on this real crappy bootleg copy my Dad let me hold. Its directed by Wayne Wang and written by Paul Auster. Filmed in Brooklyn, set in a cigar shop, its basically just about brooklyn and how diverse the community is. Starring, Victor Argo, Giancarlo Esposito, Michael J. Fox plays a pervert, Malik Yoba is in it, Lou fucking Reed, Roseanne(!!!), Mira Sorvino, Lily Tomlin, Jim Jarmusch is hilarious as always, and he does this bit about cigarrettes (big surprise) that I have officially stolen and you have probably heard me do before, and last but not least, Harvey Keitel. There is also this Puerto Rican chica in it who is a real scene stealer. You'll see what I mean. "Bullshit Auggie"
Do yourself a favor and rent this.

What happened to hip hop?
