Tonight......My Life is Changed Forever

I remember when I first saw this part:

Pat Duffy - Questionable

My mind was fucking blown. It was so ahead of its time. I immediately went out and skated like my life depended on it.
Over the years there have been a couple parts that really stick out in my mind. This is in no way all of the parts that I liked. Or even my favorite video parts of all time. They are just the ones that I think really changed me. As in, my life wasnt the same after I watched them. Perhaps I'm exaggerating slightly, but i honestly think I looked at things differently afterward.

Ethan Fowler- A Visual Sound

I totally just cruised around and did some soul carving after I watched this. I lived at home, and when times would get tough, i'd go out at night, listen to some Nas on my walkman, and bomb the little hills in my neighborhood. I wanted to start smoking because of Ethan. and i totally went to Roses and bought dickies and wifebeaters too. I still watch this video regularly and Im not just claiming one of the best skate videos of all time, but one of the best films, in general, of all time.

Jamie Thomas- Welcome To Hell

What is there to say about this part that hasnt been said already. Its fucking incredible. The iron maiden, the handrails, the long hair, that opening line at the brooklyn banks! I love this shit, and i dont even really like jamie thomas.

Jeremy Wray- Second Hand Smoke

Kyle came over to my house after he bought this and we sat down and watched it together for the first time. After this part was finished we both looked at each other, our jaws were wide open, and we both had tears in our eyes. it was so fucking epic! That opening line at Carlsbad is amazing.

I also wanted to add Ricky Oyola's part from the SubZero Video on here, but it wasnt available on YouTube.
That part, for the first time in my skateboarding career, made me proud to be from the east coast. And oddly enough, that part is pretty much the reason why I live in Philly today.

So the reason for this post is obviously because Fully Flared came out today, and im really looking forward to it. I think its going to change my life.
The Lil' Guy has them at Kinetic, so holler if you want a copy.

80 Blocks From Tiffany's

THIS is a really cool documentary about NY city gangs from the 80's. Before NY went all soft. Highly Recommended!

Grandma Hands/A Snake Shedding

Every year as God turns the heat down, my skin leaves my hands. I like to think of it as being similar to a snake shedding. But when you look at it, it seems like something worse.

Can you believe this hand is a attached to the left arm of a 27 year old stud?
