Be Kind Rewind Art Show

I went to Michel Gondry's Be Kind Rewind Art Show at Deitch last week when it opened. Damn right, I was in on the ground floor. And quite frankly it was underwhelming. Maybe if I'd seen the movie and really loved the movie it'd be much mo radicler. But I haven't, so it wasn't. And the reviews for the movie haven't exactly been all that great, so who knows.

Anyway, here are some pictures from the show. Have you ever walked around in the set of a movie? I have. Allegedly you can sign up to rent the gallery and film your own movies a la Be Kind Rewind. You can also rent the fake movies that they made from the gallery. Or you can watch some on YouTube.

This was at the totally radical Museum of the City of New York
