Two of the Best Shows that I Won't Be Going To

So Danzig

is playing at the Electric Factory

with Dimmu Borgir

on October Fourteenth.

When I was a kid we used to go dumpster diving in the Relapse Records dumpster. Relapse used to have offices in Lancaster. We used to find some crazy shit. Old records and CDs. There were always tons of magazines. I still to this day have never heard what Dimmu Borgir sounds like (I thought of youtubing them but I find it funny that I have no clue) but I will always remember their name and remember laughing my ass off at their press photos. This one is really plain from what I remember. The other band/guy I remember laughing at was

Mortiis.

The only thing that sucks is I always thought he actually looked like that. Turns out it's just make up.

WTF?!

Wasilla Assembly of God Clip

Im not really down with JC. Someone explain to me what the hell these people are doing? seriously?

Crumb

There is a R. Crumb Exhibit tonight at the ICA.

Skate Stairs

THIS IS NOT COOL

THIS is a really good article about Sarah Palin in Time Magazine.
But the following paragraph got me really angry:

[Former Wasilla mayor] Stein says that as mayor, Palin continued to inject religious beliefs into her policy at times. “She asked the library how she could go about banning books,” he says, because some voters thought they had inappropriate language in them. “The librarian was aghast.” The librarian, Mary Ellen Baker, couldn’t be reached for comment, but news reports from the time show that Palin had threatened to fire her for not giving “full support” to the mayor.

WTF?!! You just drew the line in the sand Tina Fey! Dont let me catch you in the streets!!
