Shep's money is long, but not as long as Jordan's money!

Shepard just did some posters in conjunction with Upper Deck to celebrate Jordan being inducted into the b-ball hall of fame. The dunk poster is super fresh, the other two are kinda disappointing. The dunk poster is probably the most well known image of his career, I had the original poster hanging on my wall when i was a youngster. There are so many images they could have used that are amazing, but I guess I'm forgetting about the politics of working with Upper Deck and having to select from images they have rights to. Anyway, check out the prices, it's pretty crazy/funny.

"The initial offering consisting of just the high-end, 26” x 36” silk-screened master prints signed by both Jordan and Fairey (limited to 50 versions each) for $4,499.99 collectively. For anyone who purchases the three-part master print series, they will receive the same edition number in the limited-to-50 series for each print (UNC, Bulls and the HOF induction). Additionally, on Sept 17th the three-part sets signed by Fairey-only, which also measure 26” wide x 36” high and are limited to 123 apiece, go on sale for $1,349.99 collectively.

On Sept 22nd, individual versions of the dual-signed master prints will go on sale for $1,499.99 each, with the Fairey-only signed versions also being made available for $499.99 apiece. Lastly, on Tuesday, Sept. 29, an 18” wide x 24” high Fairey-signed print that’s limited to 523 will be made available. Complete sets of the three single-signed, 18″ x 24″ prints will retail for $215.99 each with individual pieces listed for $79.99." Full details here: OBEY GIANT

Do you guys think I'll be able to walk into his studio and get the $15 "Bro Deal" on these posters?

I just re-read and noticed the difference in prices. A master print signed by Shepard is $499.99, a master print signed by Shep and Jordan is $1499.99. Jordan gets $1000 to sign his name?

I just figured out how to get pictures from my phone onto The Beagle

I took these at the Asian Art Museum in SF. I thought they were dope. They also kind of reminded me of something Isaac would make.
