does anyone know what Jason did with the $500 he won in the Bui/Charlton cell phone bet? Well, I was checking out the website for Gallery1988 in LA, and I found a totally sweet painting that is right up his alley, and it's exactly $500 U.S. American Dollars, NO EUROS! This painting is a good representation of the radical & ridiculous character known as Prince.

Late as usual. July 27th, 2009 was the 25th anniversary of the film Purple Rain. I had planned on doing a post about how amazing the movie was and is. Obviously I missed my deadline. Here are some facts about the film you all know and love.

• 24 - Weeks soundtrack spent at No. 1 on the Billboard chart.
• 9 - Ranking of Purple Rains on list of best-selling soundtracks of 2007.

This is interesting only to Jason, and even then only a little bit.
