NEW FEATURE: what did Snacks do this weekend...?
On Friday night Snacks took it easy so as not to ruin his daytrip to the big city. On Saturday morning, Snacks has his driver, Jason Bui, drive him from West Philadelphia to the Freeborn residence in East Philadelphia. Snacks arrives in East Philadelphia, where he meets with his companions, Rebecca Freeborn and former driver Jason Bui, and switches drivers for the second half of the trip. For this segment of the trip, Snacks and his party are now being driven by his new driver, Andrew Freeborn. They arrive in NYC and head to the Jonathan LeVine Gallery to check out the Phil Frost show. Next stop is a book/zine store called Printed Matter, where Snacks purchases numerous Fagazines. (** the term Fagazine, is coined by Snacks' driver, Andrew Freeborn, and all royalties for usage of this term shall be directed to Mr. Freeborn) After Printed Matter, Snacks directs his party toward SoHo, with stops at Opening Ceremony, TopShop, A.P.C., and finally Deitch Gallery. The next stop would be dinner, at a small Italian eatery in SoHo. After dinner, Snacks finished up his trip at Fuse gallery to check out the Shelter & Ivory Serra artshow. After a couple drinks at the bar with friend, Jason Bui, he gathered his party and headed back to Philadelphia. On Sunday, Snacks had plans to layout on his deck shirtless and enjoy his new outdoor furniture.

The Start of Your Ending
Today is actually the real birth date of Jason deMedeiros, so Happy Birthday! Now, I will begin the story of the day the stork dropped little Jason on the doorstep of our college dorm.
I wasn't actually there at the initial discovery of our pal Jason, but I know the story pretty well. Apparently Ben Jones and Andrew Baron were skating on campus that day, there was a little bump in the sidewalk they were sessioning, and i can only imagine Jason was watching from afar for hours before he mustered up the courage to talk to them. Anyway, at some point he approached them, and started talking to them about how he skated and how he hadn't met anyone at the school that skated until now. So, Ben and Andrew Baron invited Jason to go skating, and the little guy scurried off to his dorm room to get his skateboard. Upon arriving at his dorm room, Jason realized he had forgotten his keys and was locked out. Ben and Andrew Baron didn't know it at the time, but this initial meeting would be a good indication of how things would go for Jason during the rest of his time at West Chester University.
I don't know what it was, but it seemed like nothing ever worked out for Jason at college, although if you ask him, he will tell you he never should have been there in the first place.
