DENTON PICS
Urn recently went back to Denton so I asked him to take some pictures. He took all of them from his car and he sent me about 20 pictures of trees and his rear view mirror. These are the best pics that he sent. I also asked him to take a picture of the Denton Library Gap but he must have not driven past it.

For a bunch of people that pride themselves on being from a rural, hickish town, you guys sure seem to be in touch with technology. How many Denton blogs are there? How much digitizing of the town is going on? There is even a wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denton,_Maryland
I bet Denton has the highest blogger per capita of any town in the world. I renounce Denton.
were computer savvy, what can i say? we dont have anything else to do.
what i found interesting about the wikipedia page is that the population was a little over 2,000 in the year 2000. the town has probably doubled or tripled since i left in 1996. i didnt realize it was so small. and the median income for a family is $40,000. that didnt really surprise me so much. they didnt even mention frederick douglas, who was born in a small shack outside of denton. or the fact that the underground railroad went through denton. and not one mention of the library gap.
