REEL TALK

Barry Levinson edition:

Barry is the other director from Baltimore. Not the perverted cool one, but the hollywood sellout one. I watched some of his movies:

Ahhhh.......a simpler time. sock-hops, soda floats, dames and broads. those were the days. Not really.
This was just one big dissapointment after another. Just when you think its going to get better, they ruin it for you.
Oh no! Is Mickey going to fuck his best friends wife. Of course not.
Ahhhhh! Kevin Bacon was in a car accident! Nope. He just faked it and thats only ketchup.
Jeepers! Mickey owes 2 g's to the mob, what is he going to do? His dads friend is going to pay it for him, without him even asking, and without him having to pay it back.
Pfffttttt.....
Steve Gutenberg gives his best performance since police academy 3. Kevin Bacon is drunk. Mickey Rourke fucks all of the girls. there it is. i ruined the whole movie for you.
I heard a bunch of talk about how good this film was but I wasnt real impressed. it was real slow. the only good thing about this film is that its set in Baltimore and if you look real closely there is a scene where they are pulling into the diner parking lot, and there is a National Bohemian billboard. That was kind of cool.

I rented the special edition. I really wish i had watched the regular version, maybe it would have been shorter.
billy bob thornton used to have sex with Angelina Jolie. Just in case you forgot. They used to cut each other with knives and shit.
Do i really need to tell you how bad this was? Bruce Willis is in it, and he has long hair, for christs sake.
This movie was crap. Don't rent it.

One of the writers of this is Barry Levinson. Im not sure if its the same Barry that directed the films above, but I have to tie all of these together somehow.
This is directed by and stars Mel Brooks, so you should already know what youre getting into. There are also a whole bunch of former Hollywood Squares and Carol Burnett Show extras. The entire thing is a parody of Hitchcock films. If youre a fan of Naked Gun, Airplane, or Wayans Bros. movies, than you would probably be into this.
There is a scene where a woman wears an all-over print LV monogram suit. Hot stuff.
You ever heard the Mel Brooks song, "Good to be the King"? He raps, its hilarious.
