Public School Tales

So, last week (last Thursday I think)a couple of parent (Mom, her boyfriend and an aunt or something) decided to walk their third grader to school. Now you're probably thinking that this sounds pretty normal. I work in the hood and so of course parents walk their eight year olds to school. Parents want their kids to be safe right? But no, third graders getting walked to school is not the norm. By third grade many students are walking not only them selves but also their younger brothers or sisters to school in the morning. So why you ask were not one but three adults walking this youngster to school? Isn't the answer obvious? So they could help their child beat up some other eight year olds. Yep, that's right. These three "adults" had nothing better to do with their morning than to beat up some kids.

Here's an except from our Principal's "official" letter to parents and guardians.
"An incident occurred this morning before the start of the school day in our schoolyard. Allegedly, parents were involved in an attack on (name of school withheld)
students. Unfortunately, a weapon may have been present. Philadelphia Police are actively investigating."

My kids claim that the guy had a guy. By the time the police arrived and he was taken into custody he didn't, but maybe he did.
