New Whip Game.

WeakEnd

I didn't have my camera for most of the weekend. (sorry)

Friday. Salty Snacks had an art show at the place on 6th and Bambridge. I didn't get a single picture but the show was amazing. Here's the flier. It was all large cardboard characters that this guy Jerry Hsu made and Salty Snacks painted. Check it out.

Saturday. SweatHeart played at the FartBar.
R. Sean and R. Becca were there. Pretty Awesome.

So, were these people. Not Awesome At All. These were the most annoying people EVER at a SweatHeart show.

Late Post: Tattooed Tuesday .

Blog of the Week

Today's internet is occasionally referred to as Web 2.0. The internet revised. There was no software or hardware updates or anything like that, what spawned Web 2.0 was greater integration of the user. Blogs, wikis, social networking sites and the other sundries that created a web culture community were responsible for Web 2.0. What was revolutionary about this point in the internet's young life was that now, more than ever, the end user of the internet was just as much a part of the internet as those creating the websites. But perhaps revolutionary isn't the right word... to be certain there were plenty of sites out there where end-user interaction was the basis of the sites success long before blogs and myspace were the backbone of the web culture that they are today.

Fark is a site that has been around the internet since 1997. Did you even know about the internet back then? I was 17 at the time and more interested in getting into Theresa Patro's panties. However some dude named Drew Curtis set up fark.com and posted a picture. In 1999 the picture came down and up went a list of random news articles that were inadvertently amusing. In 2000 the site added comments. Fark.com is run by a staff but it is updated by the people. Anyone can submit an internet link and a headline. If the admins approve the link, *poof* it goes up. While the articles and websites that you are directed to are amusing and or interesting; what is more funny is the comments. There are thousands of farkers (commenters) and in that thousands, there are a smaller thousands of funny people. Fark is updated constantly, so if you are looking for a site that'll keep you entertained all day, this one will be able to fill that role. This was the first page in Fark I ever read. It had me crying.

CD's

I was thinking about selling my cd's and was wondering if anyone would be interested. i have a little less than 1000. they dont have cases but are pretty well organized in cd books. each book holds 250 cd's and they are broken into 4 sections, jazz, rock, hip-hop and soul/funk. i kind of want to sell each book instead of take out the individual cd's. if anyone is interested, let me know.

Hear Ye Hear Ye

Are you folks aware of a rival blogging service called Tumblr? It is 1000000000% better than blogger, which it turns out sucks big donkey dicks. I move that we move the Reagle beagles to tumblr.

Why? Well, we can register Reagle Beagles as our own domain (if its not taken) then we can set it up for the Tumblog (what they're called.)

Why else? You can drag a little button to your browser's toolbar and make blog posts in a jiff. You can also post from your iPhone, if you have one, or regular phone, if you have one. And if you don't, I mean really, come on. But even a regular phone ought to work. You can upload your photos straight from phone to blog.

So what? Well you can also custom make the html code so the blog can look however we want. I'm sure one of you numbnuts knows how to do that, or would like to learn.

Why else? It's much better, it's not even close. Trust me. So what do you say? Let's get rid of the worst blogging platform out there and get onto something much sicker.

Who would win in a fight?

Glenn Danzig or Henry Rollins? Yeah, this is not an original hypothetical but still one to spark an interesting debate.

Glenn grew up with a no-nonsense former Marine Corps veteran father. Since the late 80s he has been practicing the Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do form of martial arts. What is Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do? Its the martial arts form created by Bruce Lee and translates to: "Bruce Lee's Way of the Intercepting Fist." That's pretty bad ass. Glenn's personality often caused heated conflicts with other bands sharing the stage. Culminating in a show in Tuba City, Arizona, where Danny Marianino (lead singer of the band North Side Kings) punched Danzig after being pushed. Today Danzig keeps busy as an author focusing on his interests in with horror, gore, occult, erotic and religious themes

Henry was raised in the DC area and due to a poor behavior and poor grades was sent to the Bullis Military school. Rollins, while fronting the band, State of Alert, was known for getting into fights with audience members. As the frontman for Black Flag, this trend continued. In 1984 he began a steady weight lifting regiment, some assumed this to be a way of looking more intimidating. Henry has found his fingers in several pies these days as an activist, author, in spoken word and he also hosts his own show on the IFC.

Surely this is a question for the ages. I doubt we'll come to a conclusion today...

But if I am going to pick. I'm going with Henry Rollins.

I Remember Halloween

I don't if this is really early or really late at this point but I just found these pictures on the interweb. They're in a weird order because of how I loaded them.
