Philadelphia is Ugly

According to Travel+Leisure, Philly placed last in attractiveness out of 25 citites. I don't know how viable I consider this study. Amongst the polls they ask which city is the friendliest. And Philly outranked New York. Which is insane. The people of New York are cheery cream puffs compared to Philly.

When I was reading about this on the Reuters website, the tacked this towards the end:
Philadelphians' self-esteem has been undermined by national surveys showing they are among the fattest people in the United States. The American Obesity Association ranked the city in the top 10 for overweight people every year between 2000 and 2005.
Then they mentioned the losing sports teams, really piling it on, like jerks.

Don't worry, the Numbers Guy at the Wall Street Journal debunks the survey. It was just done with a poll on their website which attracts 10,000 unique visitors a month. I think this blog gets 500, and this blog is not a profession. Also, people could vote twice and they had no real comparative view point. They just punched in what they thought, regardless of where they've been.

The Daily News ran an article interviewing the denizens of Philly, who universally defended Philly's beauty.
