Panic on the Streets of London

Well, I don't know if you missed us or not, but me and the misses took a trip across the pond for an extended weekend. We left for London last Friday night, and we returned home early Tuesday evening. The trip started off proper with a little assistance from a nice man at USAIRWAYS that i don't even know. Instead of flying in Coach with the wankers, this man decided we were ready for the big leagues and told the gate agent to move us up to Envoy Class. I don't know if you have ever flown Envoy, but it is a beautiful thing. Huge reclining seats, each with its own video screen, a gift bag with lotion, lip balm, sleeping mask, socks, mini toothbrush/toothpaste, and best of all, a Menu. A menu with appetizers, entrees, all kinds of adult/non-adult beverages, desserts, and a number of random snacks in between. For the first time ever, Rebecca and I were actually bummed the flight wasn't a little longer!  Enough about the flight, here's a couple pics to let you see what we saw..........................

Rebecca's dessert

Parked on the street outside our hotel was this beauty

This awesome building houses a huge department store called LIBERTY. The building is ridiculously nice, they sell everything you can think of, including vintage mid-century furniture and Bunny Rabbit lamps!

I spent a lot of time reading Tube maps

Grafitti pic! Rebecca is the next Banksy, or Blek Le Rat, depending on which side you are taking in this debate

You can't go to London without making a stop at Harrod's.  If for no other reason than to see what wealthy people waste their money on.
Regent Street was keeping it festive with these strangely shaped nets of lights that ran from Oxford to Piccadilly Circus.

Carnaby Street was packed, and it was a Sunday night. They had a ton of snowflake banners, and those huge snowmen flying overhead.

This is the White Horse that the real Cocaine Cowboys rode.

This is my W. K. D. picture for the blog.

Rebecca isn't even mad that we are leaving London, but it's probably because we are going to be in Envoy again for the flight home!
